Fugly To Fabulous!!

I aim to please and it has been suggested I gather all my "makeovers" together in their own little place, so here they are....

Patchwork Chair:

Originally eBay £10

Re-upholstered (somewhat haphazardly!!) in patchwork:

Funny Little Dresser:

I think it's actually an Ercol Old Colonial, eBay £40

Painted with cream emulsion (before my love affair with Annie Sloan paint), wash of duck egg and distressed:

Lounge:

Originally biscuit walls and dark, drab curtains:

Walls repainted white, new curtains (fixed curtain pole!!) and sideboard:

Rustic Bathroom Shelves

Made by my Stepdad so free!!:

Painted in Annie Sloan Duck Egg, Old White over and rubbed back to reveal the blue/green:

Sideboard

(Affectionally known as "The Scrapping Cupboard" as I used to keep my scrapbooking things in it) - originally painted in cream emulsion. From charity shop £10:

Annie Sloan Duck Egg with Old White dry brushed over, distressed and clear waxed:

Bedroom Drawers

Cast off from my Sis so another freebie. Originally cream emulsion:

I mixed my own colour using Annie Sloan's Old White, Duck Egg and Provence, clear waxed and distressed:

Bedside drawers

(No before pic of these, will try and find one) - bought by MIL from a junk shop for my birthday years ago. They were waxed pine, now same colour as drawers above and distressed. Note how the lack of white/cream underneath to show through gives a more rustic feel:

Tea Trolley

From Freegle!!:

Spray painted cream (never again!!) with patchwork wallpaper using Mod Podge:

Office Chair

(Again no before pic, it was beige tweed!!) £3.06 from eBay!! Recovered in Ikea Rosali fabric:

Vintage Dressing Table

From eBay £60, originally from Harrods in the late '50's/early '60's - no after pic yet as although I have redone it I haven't done the trim yet AND after already buying two lots of fabric I am still not happy with it and so will probably change it again soon!!:

Phew!! I think that is all for now!! Thanks as always for reading....
