As you may remember I enjoy making embroidered home "portraits" and hand painted signs so have decided to add  details here of how you may order.

These make fabulous gifts for new home owners or just a lasting keepsake of your home.

I work from a photo and also Google Street View to draw a sketch of your home, picking out all the distinctive details. From this I cut the fabric pieces to make the basic shape of your home -I use quality fabrics including Cath Kidston; Tilda; Tanya Whelan and vintage.

I then free hand embroidery the fabric to the background using my machine. The picture is created by using the needle to free hand draw the details on to the fabric.

I had smaller details such as the windows, drainpipes and so on and then it is time add some hand embroidery in the form of flowers, trees and bunting.

I can add "fantasy" touches (that are not really there on your real home) such as windowboxes, wisteria or rambling roses, picket fences and so on - use your imagination!!

I then carefully pad and frame the work and it is ready to grace your wall.

All you need to do is supply a clear photo of the house.

Prices start from £55 for a 10" x 12" picture including frame.

Custom hand painted signs made to order.

Each sign is made of wood and painted in two colours of Annie Sloan chalk paint. Your name, number or slogan is then handpainted.

You can also choose shabby chic canal boat style roses to decorate your sign - these are not transfers or decals but painstakenly handpainted.

The sign is then lightly sanded and distressed,
then waxed for protection and a soft sheen

These signs are suitable for either indoor or outdoor use.

You can either have the sign drilled for screws, or else use instant nails to affix.

I can hand paint any slogan - large or elaborate signs will cost more - please contact me with your requirements.

Signs take between 1-2 weeks for delivery as each one is made to order - if you require it sooner let me know and I may be able to accommodate you.

Prices start from £10

Please email me on to order....
