Today he turns 13 - I made him come off the computer for a bit to pose for a photo with me:
I've spent the afternoon making cupcakes, but I will take a picture of them and post later as I am sitting down for five minutes before family arrives. H and W both have friends sleeping over (W is 11 next week) so I'm sure chaos will ensue.
S x - who doesn't half feel old today, especially in view of the crows feet in the above photo (and more so the ones in pics she vetoed!!)
Happy Birthday!!!! Hope you have a smashing day!!!! It's amazing how the time goes so fast!
ReplyDeleteHave a super weekend!!!!!

Hi Sarah, please can you email me with your address so that I can post your case to you! X
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you son. He looks like a fabulous young man and the photo of the two of you together is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI can't see any crows feet!! And if you do have them, it's a sign of a happy life, you've been smiling and laughing a lot. :)
I hope you all had a great time and looking forward to your photos.

Oh Sarah, 13 is nothing, wait til he's 27 like mine. I don't know where the time has gone. Make the most of every precious day. Happy Birthday H and W. You look great, I don't see any crows feet. Lesley x
ReplyDeleteAw that's a really moving post - isn't it amazing how quickly they go from babies to teenagers?
ReplyDeleteMakes me appreciate my children as I still see my two year old as my baby and don't want him to grow.
What a gorgeous baby he was and how handsome he is now. You must be tres proud.
Happy birthday to H and well done to you

Aw! Hope you've had a fab weekend! It's my step-son's 13th birthday today - he had his party at our house yesterday. It was mayhem but he loved it. I have only known him for 4 years but he has changed so much in that time, it's scary isn't it.
ReplyDeleteI had huge plans for cupcakes this weekend and our oven ran out of gas - had to get takeout pizzas for their party because I couldn't cook anything. Blinking thing!

What a great picture of the two of you.
ReplyDeleteMy eldest is 18 and I still can't believe it.
My youngest was 11 recently ... impossible!
Where does the time go?
